The first time I heard the name Everly was when a friend of mine welcomed her baby girl in the Summer of 2014. I loved it. Such a perfect name for a little baby girl.

When Everly's grandmother contacted me to book a newborn session for her son, daughter in law, and precious new grand baby, I fell in love with the name all over again. After meeting Everly and her parents I loved her, her family, and their pups. If you have ever met them you know it is easy to do. Melissa and Tyler have been through so much in the recent months and they have become stronger than ever, and I know Everly will grow to be just like them.

Lifestyle newborn sessions are so special because you get a glimpse of their life in these first weeks after having a baby. Those are the moments I want Everly to remember. I want them to look back at these pictures years from now and go back to that day.  I want Everly to remember all the hard work her parents put into her nursery and how perfect it turned out. I want her to remember the moment we slipped her older brothers bracelet on her ankle so she knows he is always with her, and he was with her then. I want her to remember the sweet moments of mom and dad laughing while she made her adorable grunts and noises while eating and burping. I want her to remember when the dog was giving her daddy a face wash by licking him uncontrollably while we laid down to capture photos with the whole family. I want them to remember it all, all of the big moments and small, because they all are a part of their story.
