It was one of those days. My alarm clock, which happens to be a two year old little girl, woke me up at 5:45. I quickly pushed brew on my Keuirig for the largest cup. About 30 minutes later I remembered I had made a cup of coffee and went to take a drink, it was cold. I put it in the microwave to warm it up, oops I put it in too long. I went to grab some milk from the fridge to cool it down a bit, and remembered we ran out of milk the night before. I was ready for a re do. I threw in some ice cubes and drank my coffee. Since I was up, I thought I would go ahead and get a head start to our day. It's the weekend, meaning laundry day in our house. I went to start the first load of the day and pulled out an empty jug of laundry detergent. Why are we out of everything I need this morning?! At about that point my two toddlers were begging for breakfast. They wanted cereal with milk. Well kids, we are out of milk. That didn't go over well. I was dreading a trip to the grocery story with 2 kids, but knew it had to happen. So out the door we went, still in our pajamas and all. Do you want to know three tips to making an early morning trip to the grocery store with kids less stressful? Let them wear their pajamas, let them get their own cart, and finally let them pick out whatever they want for breakfast (even if it is powdered donuts!) Grocery store success!
