In these cold winter months the best option for photos is photographing your everyday life in a lifestyle session. Don't worry, Krispy Kreme is not part of my everyday life, but you know what I mean ;)  

This month I have been focusing on capturing my kids. I am focusing on the saying "Let them be little." As much as I love those perfect, posed, "look at me and smile" photos every once in awhile, what I love the most is the pure joy they get from me letting them play all over Krispy Kreme while eating a sprinkle doughnut for lunch. May not be my most proud parenting moment, but at least I captured some great memories. They had so much fun and had such a sugar high, but by the time we got home that sugar high wore off and they crashed and took a great long nap. That is winning in my book!
